What the start looks like

The first weeks consist of short sessions with light weights. We build up the movement first, then the load.

Small volumes, technique before weight

At first, a session lasts around 40 minutes and includes six to eight exercises. Each exercise starts with the lightest resistance the machine offers – until the movement feels right. We only increase once you can complete the sets without compensating movements. There is at least one rest day between two training days.

Guided sessions

  • We go through the first sessions together with you, machine by machine
  • Seat heights, lever lengths and weights are recorded so you can find them again
  • A short check-in after each session: what felt good, what didn't
  • Technique correction right at the machine, before a habit can form
  • If you wish, continue later with personal coaching or in a relaxed class

From the first conversation to a steady training week

Between the first call and a week that runs on its own, there are four steps – each with a dedicated contact by your side.

  1. 1

    Conversation

By phone at +49 30 23125103 or by email to team@fitnessstudio-puls.invalid: we ask about how long you've paused, any discomfort, and the days you realistically have time. The conversation takes about ten minutes.

  2. 2

    Trial session

By appointment, you come by in training clothes and join a shortened session. You'll see the training area, the changing rooms, and get a feel for how busy or quiet it is at your preferred time.

  3. 3

    Introduction

Machine by machine: setting, range of motion, breathing, weight. All values are recorded for you. Only after that do you train on your own – knowing exactly where your seat position is on every machine.

  4. 4

    Steady training week

We set two to three appointments a week, ideally always at the same time. After a few weeks, we review the plan together and adjust weights, exercises or days.

Our standard

The lightest dumbbell counts too

Anyone coming back after years doesn't need a record, but a movement that still works tomorrow. That's why every exercise with us starts below what you could actually do.

Training structure

The first twelve weeks

After a long break, it's not intensity that determines success, but the order. We build up your training in three stages: first movement quality, then resilience, and only then volume. The breakdown comes from the initial conversation and is reviewed and adjusted together every four weeks.

Two sessions per week on the guided machines. Guided means the seat, lever and movement path are fixed, so you can't move out of the correct range. The weights stay deliberately low, you work with 12 to 15 repetitions and end each set as soon as your form starts to suffer. Plus ten minutes on the exercise bike to warm up.
