Getting back into fitness after a long break — at your own pace
Haven't trained in a while and don't know where to start? We deliberately keep the starting load low, practise the movement first, and only increase the weight afterwards.
Getting back into training
The worry of doing something wrong
Almost everyone who returns after years asks us the same question: how much can I take on? We don't answer it with a single sentence, but with an introduction to every machine on your plan.
Getting back into training rarely fails due to a lack of strength, but because the first week is too ambitious. That's why, in the initial consultation, we define what you should not do at the start: no maximum weights, no training to exhaustion, no six sessions in the first week.
Instead, you receive a plan with clear figures — weight, repetitions, rest periods — and a person who accompanies you through the first round on every machine. Anything that feels uncomfortable gets adjusted, not pushed through.
- Starting weights chosen so the last repetition stays clean
- Every exercise is demonstrated once and then performed once by you under supervision
- Written training plan with seat and lever settings
- Feedback after the third session — plan is kept or adjusted

Our offer
Four things that carry you through the start
Anyone returning after years doesn't need a harder plan than others, but a calmer start and someone watching over them. That is exactly what our onboarding is designed for.
Process
How your return to training unfolds
From the first phone call to the third training week, we guide you through fixed steps. You don't need to prepare anything except sports shoes and a towel — everything else we sort out together at the studio.
Five steps to a steady training rhythm
1. Book your trial session

You get in touch by phone, form, or at the front desk. We schedule an appointment outside peak times — usually in the morning or between 1 and 4 pm. That way the floor is quiet and you'll have your trainer largely to yourself.

The intake consultation covers what has been and what is now: how long your break lasted, which sports you used to do, whether your back, knees, or shoulders cause problems, which medications matter, and what your daily work routine looks like. The conversation takes around 20 minutes and forms the basis for everything that follows.

We check mobility, core stability, and basic strength on a few select machines — without performance pressure, without maximum weights. This is combined with resting heart rate and blood pressure. That way we see your actual starting point instead of guessing.

You receive a plan with six to eight exercises for two sessions per week. On every machine, we set the seat height, lever length, and weight, and note the values so you don't have to search for them next time. Your first session is completed under supervision.

We go through the plan together, correct technique, adjust weights, and expand the scope. After that, an adjustment follows roughly every eight to twelve weeks — more often on request.

Services
What's included in the membership
When returning to training, guidance matters more than equipment. That's why anamnesis, plan and follow-up check are part of the membership with us and are not billed separately.
Consultation and initial discussion
A detailed conversation about your medical history, concerns and goals, plus an initial assessment on the gym floor. Included at no extra cost, even for trial training.
Training plan with equipment settings
A written plan with exercises, sets, repetitions and the recorded seat and lever settings for your equipment. You'll find every setting again without searching.
Supervised first sessions
You complete your first training sessions with support at your side. We correct posture and pace before incorrect movement patterns become established.
Classes at no extra cost
Back training, mobility and gentle endurance training are included in your membership. The class schedule shows which sessions are suitable for beginners.
A dedicated point of contact
You'll know who to ask. Training staff are available on the floor during all opening hours, not just at peak times.
Quiet training times
If you'd rather avoid the busy evening rush, train in the morning or early afternoon. We'll tell you honestly when which areas tend to be busy.
